It’s recommended to stay away from the center Pivot during an electrical storm. The machine is usually the tallest object in the field, and a good conductive path to earth, which makes it a good lightning receptor.
Lightning arrestors
Our advice is to use a lightning arrestor to protect each machine.
It’s a specific lightning arrestor for use on 0-600 volt three phase systems, 50-60 Hz.
Installation instructions
Black wires must be connected to lines load-side of fuse/breaker, and the white wire must be connected to the neutral and/or ground.
